Life, it never seems to go as you want it to nor plan for & as I have lost a LOT of weight, finding not only comfortable clothing, but stuff that can take more than the usual beating as I tend to buy jeans the least of needed articles & I get really picky. I prefer straight cotton, but I don’t care if you’re W/M/Jrs sized; finding a pair that not only fit, but shrink properly is a dang chore!!! Then we come to jeans like JAG makes w/ the elastane or whatever modern wonder-fabric they’re using in this denim that doesn’t make it feel cheap/slippery/too clingy. The blend is JUST RIGHT! Now, I see folk are having issue w/ sizing, saying they run on the bigger end & yes, that’s true. However, jeans aren’t supposed to be skin tight & the “paunch” control is perfect too. Not too much as some other clothing makers are wont to do when making W sized pants. Another feature other jeans-makers often blow off but JAG did not is on the nice, fancy & STURDY button. I’m getting on to being a geezer & them itty bitty riveted buttons so may are using must’ve been demonically inspired. I really like everything about these jeans, even the color & was happy that they offered the elusive size 14W as I’m a right proper curvy mess & that extra inch in those poofy places is nice & I don’t have to worry about muffintopping in these. If things go awry after washing (after wearing these jeans no less than 5x, they’ll be soaked in cold water w/ detergent & color safe bleach before going through a typical cycle but will be lined dried as all jeans should be, esp. the expensive cotton ones) I’ll drop a note & a star off the review but I could tell right away that these are really well made w/ detail to stitching & better quality denim fabric. Hope I find more styles & colors for the super uncostly price I got these for. If you see them under $30; it’s definitely worth trying & I hope my recommendation helps another trying to find comfortable & well made jeans. JAG is definitely going to get my return business. ??
